The party has announced a new program on the occasion of BNP’s 46th founding anniversary.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made this announcement at a press conference at BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Thursday (August 29) afternoon.
The program includes – The party flag will be hoisted at party offices across the country including Dhaka at 6 am on September 1. On September 1 at 11 am, the party’s general secretary and central leaders will lay wreaths and read Fateha at the tomb of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, the founder of BNP.
In front of the Bad Johar party office, we pray for the souls of those killed in the flood and the recovery of the injured. A doa mahfil will be held to pray for the souls of the martyred leaders and activists in the recent student-mass movement and for the recovery of the injured, and for the recovery of the soul of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman, for the speedy recovery and long life of Begum Khaleda Zia, and for the recovery and long life of Tariq Rahman.
