jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives Junimart Girsang was surprised by the slow discussion of the Draft PP on ASN Management which was behind the target set in Law Number 20 of 2023.

It is known that the PP on ASN Management, which is predicted to contain substance regarding the arrangement of non-ASN in relation to the appointment of honorary employees to become PPPK, should have been issued in April 2024.

However, until now the discussion of the Draft PP on ASN Management has not been completed.

“It should have been April, now it’s almost September. This is also a violation. There is no PP, how can the rules in the ASN Law be executed? In fact, the deadline is December 2024, the honorary issue must be resolved, appointed as Full-Time PPPK and Part-Time PPPK,” said Junimart Girsang during a Working Meeting with Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (28/8).

The work meeting, which was also attended by the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas and the Acting Head of BKN Haryono Dwi Putranto, discussed the progress of the discussion of the Draft PP on ASN Management, in relation to the resolution of the honorary problem.

“Don’t let the ASN Law be without dignity,” said Junimart.

He said that solving the problem of non-ASN or honorary employees is actually easy.

“The problem of honorary workers is actually easy, it just requires the will,” he continued.

The PP on ASN Management, which is expected to regulate the appointment of honorary employees to become PPPK, should have been issued in April 2024.
