Morocco and Chad agree to further strengthen their bilateral partnership in all areas

Dakhla – Morocco and Chad have agreed “to further strengthen their partnership, placed under the banner of South-South cooperation”, indicates the Joint Communiqué signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, Chadians Abroad and International Cooperation, Government Spokesman, Abderaman Koulamallah, following their meeting on Wednesday in Dakhla.

The two ministers also expressed the desire of the two countries to boost economic exchanges, stressing in this regard the important role of the private sectors.

In addition, this meeting was an opportunity to sign several agreements, notably on non-double taxation, cooperation in the field of higher education, scientific research and innovation, technical cooperation in the field of Civil Aviation, cooperation in the field of forests, as well as the reciprocal recognition of driving licenses.

Furthermore, the two ministers agreed to hold the 2nd Session of the Moroccan-Chadian Joint Cooperation Commission in the first half of 2025, in Dakhla.
