/ Basra crude oil achieved weekly gains, with global oil prices recording gains for the fourth consecutive week.
Basra Heavy crude closed its last session on Friday up 1.45 cents to $77.61, posting weekly gains of $4.3, or 5.87%.
Basra Medium crude closed its last session up by 1.45 to reach $80.84, and also recorded weekly gains of $4.83, or 6.35%.
Global oil prices fell on Friday, but are set to close the week on a strong rise, with both crudes gaining more than 6 percent for the week, the biggest weekly gain since the week ending October 13.
