jpnn.comKEDIRI – Two female figures, Ferry Silviana Feronica and Regina Nadya Suwono, officially registered themselves as prospective candidates for mayor and deputy mayor with the General Elections Commission (KPU) of Kediri City, East Java, Thursday (29/8).
The candidate with the acronym FREN is being supported by the NasDem Party and the National Mandate Party (PAN).
Three thousand people consisting of party administrators, volunteers, members of bicycle, pedicab and art communities were present to accompany FREN in registering with the KPU.
Feronica and Regina are known to be the first female mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates in the history of Kediri City.
From there, volunteer supporters touted FREN as a reflection of Dewi Kilisuci and Dewi Sekartaji Kediri.
Feronica and Regina came to register at the Kediri City KPU by riding a tandem bicycle from the Sekartaji Park location.
After registration, Regina admitted that she was optimistic that together with Feronica she could win the 2024 Kediri Mayoral and Deputy Mayoral Election (Pilwalkot).
He then touched on the matter of the tandem bicycles that were ridden to the Kediri City KPUD office, which symbolized unity in achieving goals.
