Speaking on this occasion, the governor of the province of Aousserd, Abderrahaman El Jaouhari, stressed that the INDH has adopted a new approach in terms of management of public affairs, based on convergence, participatory approach and dialogue, taking into account the needs of local populations in terms of diagnosis, planning and programming.
This approach, he continued, which is the opposite of traditional and bureaucratic models, grants public policies the concept of proximity and projects carried out efficiency and effectiveness, allowing a convergence of actions between the different actors.
He also noted that the INDH has made significant achievements at the local and national levels, by paying particular attention to the human element and strengthening trust in institutions.
Mr. El Jaouhari also called on all stakeholders, including public authorities, elected officials and community actors, to take up the challenges and make further efforts, in order to preserve the achievements and achieve other objectives.
For his part, the head of the social action division (DAS) in the province of Aousserd, Brahim Zriguinate, gave a presentation, in which he focused on the action report of the provincial committee for human development (CPDH) of Aousserd.
In this wake, Mr. Zriguinate said that a total of 190 projects were financed within the framework of the third phase of the INDH, during the period from 2019 to 2022, for a total cost of approximately 35 million dirhams (MDH), of which the contribution of the INDH is of the order of more than 31 MDH.
A total amount of more than 2.76 MDH was allocated to six projects relating to the program to catch up on deficits in infrastructure and basic social services in the least equipped territorial areas, during the period from 2019 to 2022, he said, noting that this program benefited 2,500 people.
Regarding the program relating to the support of people in precarious situations, 34 projects for an investment of more than 13.42 MDH were carried out for the benefit of 1,500 beneficiaries, he stressed.
Benefiting 2,439 beneficiaries, the program for improving the income and economic inclusion of young people mobilized an envelope of more than 10.2 MDH from the INDH, to ensure the financing of 108 projects, he continued, specifying that the rate of projects completed is 66.66%, while that of ongoing projects is estimated at 33.33%.
As part of the program relating to the boosting of human capital of rising generations, 42 projects with a total cost of more than 4.69 MDH were carried out, relating to the support of maternal and child health (1.36 MDH/9 projects), support for preschool education in rural areas (more than 1.70 MDH/15 projects) and school support and the fight against school dropout (more than 4.69 MDH/18 projects), he added.
Following this meeting, the governor and the delegation accompanying him visited certain projects in Bir Gandouz as part of phase III of the INDH, namely the center of the Moroccan League for the Protection of Children, the local social center in Bir Gandouz where two preschool rooms were set up, in addition to a play area in a preschool unit.
