From September 2 to 4, traffic will be restricted in the Sofia-bound tube of the “Malo Buchino” tunnel on the “Struma” highway to replace the lighting, the press center of the “Road Infrastructure Agency” (API) announced. The restriction will come into effect tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. Due to the installation of supporting structures for the lighting, traffic will pass in both directions in the tube to Pernik, and the speed will be limited to 50 km/h, BTA reported.
It is necessary for drivers to move with increased attention and strictly follow the established traffic organization, urges the API.
The “Road Infrastructure” Agency appeals to drivers to obey the traffic rules and not to take risky overtaking that endangers the safety of all other travelers. Do not use the emergency lanes on the highways to move faster in heavy traffic. In this way, it prevents the passage of vehicles with a special mode of movement in the event of an accident.
All citizens and transport companies can receive information about the current road situation from the website of API – www.api.bg, as well as at any time of the day by calling 0700 130 20 at API.
The API previously announced that the movement from km 23+270 to km 24+180 in the direction of the Tower should be carried out with caution and a speed limit of up to 50 km/h in connection with the impossibility of laying a wearing layer of asphalt coating . The section is signaled with road signs.
