The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports is proceeding with the hiring of 8,553 teachers for Primary and Secondary Education, in Special Education and General Education as temporary substitutes with fixed-term private law employment contracts for the academic year 2024-2025.
Specifically, the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports states in an announcement that for the academic year 2024-2025, the following will be hired as temporary substitutes:
In Primary Education:
a) 221 teachers in the fields/specialties of Special Education (ΕΑΕ), and
b) 3,777 teachers in the fields/specialties of General Education.
In Secondary Education:
a) 2,336 teachers in the fields/specialties of Special Education (ΕΑΕ),
b) 2,058 teachers in the fields/specialties of General Education, and
c) 131 teachers in the PE79.01 field at Music Schools for teaching music specializations.
Additionally, thirty (30) temporary substitutes from the fields of Secondary Education were allocated for hire at the Sivitanidios Public School of Arts and Professions, by decision of the relevant Board of Directors.
The hired individuals must present themselves and assume duty from Thursday, September 5, to Friday, September 6, 2024.
Regarding the placement process in school units (where required) and the assumption of duty, the hired individuals must refer to the address www.minedu.gov.gr/anaplirotes where the necessary information and clarifications have been posted.
