Unknown gunmen assassinated the commander of the Naval Academy, Abdul Rahman Milad, known as “Al-Bidja,” after targeting his car with a hail of bullets.
Medical sources at Al-Zawiya Hospital confirmed the arrival of Abdul Rahman Al-Bidja’s body after he was targeted in the Janzour area, west of Tripoli.
Activists circulated photos and videos on social media of Al-Bidja’s body and the car he was in at the time of the assassination.
The bullets used to liquidate Al-Bidja, may God have mercy on him, were bullets against armored vehicles, and this bullet is not available in Libya. If his car was equipped with a handshake, this is evidence that the operation was an external act. pic.twitter.com/q3QtbemL7P

It is noteworthy that “Al-Bidja” was born in the city of Zawiya in 1990, and was arrested in October 2020 based on an order from the Public Prosecutor’s Office on charges of human trafficking and migrant smuggling, before being released in April 2021 by the Public Prosecution.
In October 2021, he assumed the chairmanship of the Tripoli Naval Academy Admissions Committee.
