The electoral training phase begins in the Eastern Region

As part of the High Elections Commission’s preparations to implement the voting process to elect municipal councils in the first group, the first phase of training began yesterday, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Electoral Administration Office, targeting the Electoral Administration offices in the Eastern Region, and will continue for five days.

The High Elections Commission stated on its Facebook page that the electoral training phase was “under the supervision of the Training and Procedures Department of the High Elections Commission, and was attended by Ali Al-Taie, Head of the Tobruk Electoral Administration Office, and Abdul Basit Al-Nafati, Head of the Training and Procedures Department.”

Al-Nafati stated that “the first phase is dedicated to training training coordinators and primary trainers in the electoral administration offices in the eastern region, within the scope of which are the targeted municipal councils, and another training will be held for the offices in the western and southern regions in the coming weeks.”

The number of those targeted for training is about 25 trainers, and during the upcoming training rounds, employees will be trained in the 372 polling stations distributed across 60 municipalities.
