Registration is now open for the ninth edition of the Bimbo Global Race, the largest race for a cause worldwide, which aims to bring together 150,000 runners and also seeks to donate 3 million slices of bread to Food Banks. For each participant who registers for the Grupo Bimbo race, the bakery will donate 20 slices per in-person runner and two for each virtual registration.
With this sporting and philanthropic initiative, Grupo Bimbo demonstrates its commitment to the communities in which it operates and to helping those who need it most. All in line with its purpose of “Feeding a Better World.” In this ninth edition of the Global Race that will take place on Sunday, September 29, the motto is “We share the good,” seeking to invite the global community to inspire, connect and build together because every action counts and sharing the good benefits others and enriches people.

“As every year, we seek to inspire more people, regardless of their age or whether or not they are professional runners, to join the Bimbo Global Race, a global community where we seek to get everyone to do their part to Feed a Better World together.
In addition to donating bread to those who need it most, this year we are inviting all participants to join our sustainability efforts through tips that can be found on our social media. We want this edition to break records and be memorable for all runners! We are sure that with your enthusiastic participation, together we will achieve our goal,” said Alberto Levy, Global Marketing Director at Grupo Bimbo.
The race will have three categories: 3k, 5k and 10k for men and women. People of all ages will be allowed to participate to promote family coexistence and physical activity on a global level. The participant with the best overall time in the 10 km modality, in their physical modality, will earn the right to run with a companion in the host city of the Bimbo Global Race 2025 and also the experience of getting to know the most emblematic places in that city.
This year, the host city that last year’s winners will visit is Bogotá, Colombia, the same city that inspired the organizing committee to design the shirt that the runners will wear, who we hope will number more than 150,000 physically.
