A fight between park-goers at Disney World, Magic Kingdomin Florida, followed by the popping sound of what appeared to be a balloon, sparking panic among those attending the complex.
The sound was similar to an explosion, so at the time, people took shelter in case an active shooter was present.

Minutes later, the office of Orange County Sheriff issued a message in which he ruled out the presence of an active shooter in the building and established the version that after a fight in the park the sound of what is believed to have been a balloon was what caused the panic.

American media reported that after the incident, several patrol cars could be seen outside the Magic Kingdom park, while some witnesses said that inside the park, some mothers were desperately searching for their children, uncertain of what was happening.
