Some 175,000 people have benefited from these projects carried out within the framework of the four INDH programs, according to data presented on Thursday in Errachidia, during a ceremony on the occasion of the celebration of the 18th anniversary of this major royal project, held under the theme “The assessment and achievements of the third phase”, in the presence of the wali of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, governor of the Errachidia province, Bouchaab Yahdih.
Thus, 23 projects with a total cost of 43.8 MDH were implemented within the framework of program 1 (Catching up on deficits in infrastructure and basic social services) of phase III, while 24 projects, having mobilized an investment of 19.7 MDH, were carried out within the framework of program 2 (Support for people in precarious situations).
As for program 3 (Income improvement and economic inclusion of young people), 68 projects were carried out with a total cost of 33.82 MDH.
Similarly, 273 projects mobilizing an investment of 159.8 MDH were carried out during the same period, within the framework of program 4 of the INDH (Impulsion of the human capital of rising generations).
The areas targeted under Programme 1 show that 10 of the 23 projects carried out were in the drinking water sector, 8 in education, 3 in roads, 1 in health and 1 in electricity.
Regarding programme 2, 19 of the 24 projects implemented were carried out within the framework of the axis of assistance to the elderly, the sick and those with specific needs, while 3 focused on the axis of support for socio-economic reintegration and 2 on that of the protection of children and young people.
Regarding programme 3, 44 of the projects carried out concern the entrepreneurship axis and 20 that of support for the social and solidarity economy, while 2 concern the creation of the Youth Platform.
Furthermore, the 273 projects implemented under programme 4 focus on the areas of generalising pre-school education in rural areas (237 projects), supporting schooling and combating school dropout (23 projects) and maternal and child health (13 projects).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Yahdih stressed the great importance of the INDH, this major royal project which makes human development “the link” between the different sectors, particularly those of education, health and infrastructure.
He noted that HM King Mohammed VI has constantly called for the necessary attention to be paid to the human element which remains “the true wealth” of Morocco, welcoming the active involvement of all stakeholders, at the provincial, regional and national levels, in the implementation of the projects and actions of the INDH.
This ceremony was marked by the handover of 4 ambulances, acquired by the INDH thanks to an investment of 2,899,980 Dh, for the benefit of the health centers of Boudnib, Merzouga, Igli and Tinejdad, as well as 5 mobile medical units (1,960,008 Dh) for the benefit of the health centers of Boudnib, Jorf, Goulmina, Moulay Ali Chérif and Tinejdad.
These ambulances and mobile medical units are the subject of agreements signed on this occasion by the wali of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, governor of the Errachidia province and the provincial delegate for Health and Social Protection.
The keys to 4 school transport minibuses, acquired by the INDH (1.54 MDH), were also handed over to the municipalities of Oued Naam, El Khang, Tadigoust and Melaab.
These school transport minibuses are the subject of agreements signed during this ceremony by the wali of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, governor of the Errachidia province, the provincial director of National Education and the presidents of the Councils of the municipalities concerned.
This meeting took place in the presence of the President of the Council of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, the Presidents of the Provincial and Municipal Councils of Errachidia, representatives of the National Coordination of the INDH, as well as representatives of the associative network.
