Bank Mizrahi Bank Published this morning (Tuesday) its financial statements for 2021 and they show record profits, which were estimated at NIS 3.19 billion, twice the profit recorded in 2020, when the net profit was NIS 1.6 billion. In the fourth quarter of the year, the Bank’s net profit amounted to NIS 679 million, compared with NIS 506 million in the corresponding quarter of 2020.

“In 2021, an extraordinary record was set in the performance of new mortgages, which amounted to NIS 116 billion. The huge demand that came to the bank’s branches and our mortgage center, from private customers and mortgage advisers, created an operational challenge. “Overcome the exceptional loads and provide an optimal solution, tailored to the needs and characteristics of each and every customer, while maintaining our leading position in the industry,” wrote Chairman Moshe Widman at the beginning of the annual report.

He further mentioned that during the year the bank established a new arm for real investments, with the aim of supporting one of the main objectives of the program: making the bank a key player in the field of business banking. He added that by the end of 2021, investments of hundreds of millions of shekels had already been made.
