HM the King’s support for the Palestinian cause is “constant and unwavering” (Advisor to the Palestinian President)
Ramallah – The support of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Qods Committee, for the Palestinian cause is “constant and unwavering,” said Mahmoud Al Habbash, Advisor to the Palestinian President.
In a statement to MAP on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day, Mr. Al Habbash stressed that the strengthening of fraternal Moroccan-Palestinian relations, deeply rooted in history, and the Palestinian cause have always been a priority of Moroccan foreign policy under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI. Highlighting the major role played by the Al-Quds Committee, under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the senior Palestinian official praised the remarkable and valuable efforts of the Kingdom in favor of the Palestinian cause. Mr. Al Habbash, in this context, highlighted Morocco’s constant support for the Palestinian cause in international forums “which we appreciate”, welcoming the permanent communication between HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee and Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, to coordinate positions and strengthen cooperation in various fields in the service of the Palestinian people. He also maintained that the Kingdom of Morocco has always supported the Palestinian cause, using its diplomatic relations to defend this issue. Mr. Al Habbash also stressed that the Maqdessis greatly appreciate the projects implemented by the Bayt Mal Al Qods Acharif Agency and the support it provides them in various areas, such as housing, health and education.
