(ANSA) – SANTO DOMINGO DE GUZMAN, 04 SEPTEMBER – In the Dominican Republic, a second plane used by the government of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has been under close surveillance by local authorities for 24 hours. The information comes two days after the US Department of Justice seized the Dassault Falcon 900EX used by Maduro for his trips abroad, including those at the beginning of the year to Guyana and Cuba. Washington then took it the day before yesterday to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after the aircraft was blocked and guarded by local authorities in the Dominican Republic. The anonymous source contacted by CNN, who this afternoon confirmed the blocking of this second plane used by the Venezuelan government, did not reveal specific details on the model or brand. At the moment it is not even known whether its seizure was requested by US authorities, as for the Dassault Falcon 900EX. (ANSA).
