They had taken two employees of the temple hostage. Meanwhile, suddenly the vehicles of ATS commandos stopped and armed ATS commandos entered the temple committee office. For some time, there was panic among the devotees and other people present. But as the situation settled down, it became normal. Later it was found out that this was a mock drill for security and the terrorists were not real.
Information about two terrorists hiding in Shyam Mandir with weapons
Actually what happened was that on Tuesday, the news of two armed terrorists hiding in the famous Baba Shyam Mandir in Khatu Shyam Ji town of Sikar spread like wildfire. Shortly after, the ATS squad reached the temple premises and the ATS commandos carried out the operation of killing two dummy terrorists in the office premises of the temple committee. Seeing such a scene, the people present in the temple were shocked as to what was happening in the house of God.
The dummy action was actually part of a mock drill by ATS
It is being told that hundreds of devotees visit this famous Khatushyamji temple in Rajasthan every day, which also includes VIPs. In the Lakkhi fair held in the month of Falgun, about 40 lakh devotees reach for darshan. At the same time, the number of devotees coming in a month is reaching millions. Recently, in the budget, it was announced to start Sadar police station in Khatu. Along with this, at present, apart from the local police, RAC contingent has also been deployed here. Security guards have also been deployed here by the temple committee.
Action taken for the safety of devotees and to deal with emergency situations
A mock drill was organized by ATS in the temple on Tuesday for the safety of devotees and to deal with emergency situations. To carry out the mock drill, ATS received information that terrorists are hiding in Baba Shyam’s temple and have taken the employees of the temple committee hostage. ATS killed two dummy terrorists. On receiving the information, the ATS team reached the temple premises in a well-planned manner with weapons and strong arrangements. The ATS team killed two dummy terrorists on the spot in the temple committee’s office premises. Documents along with two rifles were also recovered from both the dummy terrorists.
During the mock drill conducted by ATS, the devotees who had come to visit Baba Shyam in the temple were shocked. On knowing about it, the devotees and the common people heaved a sigh of relief. This mock drill was conducted by ATS sub-inspector Harikishan Yadav. In this, the ATS jawans faced the terrorists very well and killed them.
