Mizrahi Tefahot Bank announced that in 2021 there was a 98% increase in the bank’s net profit, which stood at NIS 3,188 million last year compared to NIS 1,610 million in 2020. The return on capital increased to 15.8% compared to 9.5% in 2020. Financing income excluding Union Bank grew by 23.4%. As a result, the bank will distribute a dividend of NIS 271.6 million, 40% of the profits of the last quarter of 2021. The bank’s CEO Moshe Larry: “2020 was marked by the corona crisis, 2021 actually showed a rapid recovery in the bank’s operations.”
