The driver of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team Fernando Alonso has received in Monaco what will be his “street” car, an Aston Martin Valkyrie.

Inspired by the AMR24, the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team racing car, Alonso’s Valkyrie is painted in Aston Martin Racing Green with contrasting graphics in AMR Satin Lime, which emphasizes the hypercar’s most prominent aerodynamic features.

The cavernous Venturi tunnel has been further improved with the addition of Speed Red and Light and dark blue graphics. Visible carbon trim adorns the roof, engine cover and lower aerodynamic elements, while the Aston Martin titanium wing badge is proudly displayed at the front. The ‘CAUTION HOT’ graphic has also been added to the back.

In the cabin facing the driver, the exposed carbon fiber is increased, and the Alcantara Pure black stripes are combined with contrast stitching in AMR lime. Alonso’s famous personal branding can also be seen embroidered on the headpieces with the same contrasting stitch.

Perhaps the most complex detail is the invisible one: the red anodized aluminum accelerator pedal inscribed with the number “14”, in homage to the number that Fernando Alonso competed in, chosen at the age of 14, on July 14th , when he became world karting champion with #14.

“It’s hard to put into words how much I’ve been looking forward to today,” said Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team driver Fernando Alonso. “Sitting behind the wheel of my very own Valkyrie, which I worked closely to design with the team at Q by Aston Martin, is definitely a day I will remember. The Valkyrie is a true F1® car built for the road, incorporating many insights and technologies from Aston Martin’s extensive track experience. “I’m looking forward to going out on the road with you.”

The Aston Martin Valkyrie, which accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (0-97 km/h) in less than 2.5 seconds and has a 6.5-liter V12 hybrid engine with 1,155 HP of power, adds a formidable combination of F1- supporting aerodynamics and performance, offering one of the most powerful driving experiences possible on the road.

Like all Aston Martin sports cars, the Valkyrie is manufactured at the brand’s factory in Gaydon, United Kingdom. A project team manages production through delivery in a specially organized manufacturing environment for Valkyrie. Each of the 150 cars is handcrafted by a team of highly skilled engineers, with each Valkyrie requiring more than 2,000 hours of work.

Before each Valkyrie is delivered, it is tested on the track at Aston Martin’s high-end factory in the birthplace of British motorsport, Silverstone, where much of the hypercar’s development takes place.

Q by Aston Martin is the brand’s unique personalization service, allowing customers to explore their design creativity in unlimited potential and offering the ultimate expression of individuality. From bespoke paint colors and graphics on the exterior to elaborate custom details and engravings on the interior, Aston Martin customers can create a truly unique configuration.
