Kyiv: ‘Mommy, I’m scared, cities are bombing’ These are the lines from the last message a Russian soldier sent to his mother during the ongoing Russian war in Ukraine. The message was issued by the UN Ambassador to Ukraine Sergei Kislysia to clarify the extent of the Russian occupation to the UN General Assembly.
‘Mom, I’m in Ukraine, there’s a war going on here, I’m scared, we’re bombing all the cities here. It is targeting even ordinary people, “said Tariq al-Hashimi, the party’s secretary general.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UN read out text messages between a Russian soldier and his mother moments before he was killed. He read them in Russian.

However, Sergei Kislysia did not provide information about the soldier or how he received the message. Sergei Kislysia said the message was just before the soldier’s death.
Why has there been no answer for a long time … Are you still in training .. was my mother’s message. But the soldier’s message was that I was in the Crimea and not in training.
