The Public Prosecution directed the Ministry of Interior to arrest 3 suspects in the murder of citizen Abdul Rahman Salem Milad, known as “Al-Bidja.”

The Public Prosecutor’s Office said that the judicial police officer listened to the statements of one of the suspects after he voluntarily surrendered himself, and ordered the arrest of the three suspects after the investigation proved their involvement in the crime.

The Public Prosecution had previously announced that it had identified two suspects involved in the murder of the Naval College Commander, and the Ministry of Interior had ordered their arrest.

The Public Prosecution stated that the process of revealing the identity of the accused came after investigation and investigation procedures into the circumstances and conditions of the incident, which resulted in identifying the accused’s car.

This came after demands to investigate the incident by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba and the head of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, who in turn called on the Attorney General’s Office not to let those involved escape punishment and to prosecute them.

The commander of the Naval Academy, known as “Al-Bidja,” was killed when his car was targeted by gunmen in the Sayyad area, west of Janzour, Tripoli, last Monday.

A source from the Emergency Medicine Department in Zawiya confirmed in exclusive statements to Libya Al-Ahrar that Al-Bidja was killed after being shot by three cars that targeted his convoy after he left the headquarters of the Naval Academy in the Sayyad area, according to the source.
