The tax reform: the process and the dates to remember

The first draft of the parliamentary proposal on the tax reform ready. In all, it is 21 pages, divided into three chapters. It focuses on a shared premise between the parties: to lower taxes as much as possible and to lighten the tax burden on Italians. Then, on how to obtain the final result, the paths and solutions diverge. But in the meantime, the joint Finance Committees of the House and Senate are working on the reform proposals with the aim of drafting a single document to be presented by 30 June. From there, we will start with the delegated law proposal on the tax reform, which the Council of Ministers must approve by 31 July, according to the calendar written in black on white in the PNR, presented in recent days by the Italian government to the European authorities.
