Until a few years ago, making smartphones in India was like a dream. Most of the smartphones sold in India were imported. The biggest share of these was from China. China used to sell cheap Chinese smartphones in India. In such a situation, India was called the dumping yard of cheap Chinese smartphones, but in the last decade, the situation of making 5G smartphones has changed rapidly. However, initially many experts were calling the manufacturing of smartphones in India a distant dream, because most experts believed that it would be difficult for China to make smartphones for India and export them to other countries. However, today the figures are telling a different story.
