Former India captain S Sreesanth will miss the rest of Kerala’s Ranji Trophy matches due to injury during training. According to reports, it will take time for the player to recover from his injury.

Sreesanth tweeted that he was unable to walk and was seriously injured. Today, Sreesanth shared a picture of his hospital on social media. Sreesanth was absent from Kerala’s second group match.

In the first match of the Ranji Trophy against Meghalaya, Sreesanth took two wickets. He was later injured during a practice session.

However, Sreesanth, who had a base price of Rs 50 lakh, was not called up by any team in the IPL auction. Sreesanth played 44 matches in the IPL for Kings XI Punjab, Kochi Tuskers and Rajasthan Royals between 2008–13. Sreesanth, who has been out of cricket since 2013 following a BCCI ban, returned to domestic cricket last season. He was also part of the Kerala team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Twenty20 Championship and Vijay Hazare Trophy.
