Man shot after argument in Baden
In the early hours of Saturday morning, an argument between two men escalated. The suspected shooter has been arrested.

An argument between two men in Baden led to a large police operation on Saturday morning. One of the disputants fired multiple shots at his 34-year-old opponent, who was injured in the incident. The suspected shooter has been arrested.
According to the Aargau cantonal police, they were alerted around four in the morning to reports of multiple gunshots fired near a hotel on Mellingerstrasse in Baden. They found an injured male near the crime scene. The 34-year-old Swiss was taken to the hospital after first aid was provided by the police.
Based on initial findings and testimonies from witnesses, one person quickly became the focus of the investigation, according to police reports. A 33-year-old Swiss from the region was subsequently arrested shortly after the incident near his place of residence. The public prosecutor’s office has opened proceedings and the Aargau cantonal police have initiated investigations.
