(Web Desk) 30 years have passed since the famous comedian Asif Jah passed away, but the impressions of his acting are still alive, he was considered the third biggest comedian of Pakistan after Nazr and Zarif.

Nazr, Asif Jah, A. Shah Shikarpuri and Zarif were among the first batch of comedians in Pakistan, later Lahri, Manoor Zarif, Rangeela, Nanha and Ali Ijaz also gained a unique place in the comedy field.

Asif Jah’s first film “Duanso” was released in 1950 while his last film “Ghirt Di Mot” was released in 1979.

It is also said that Sheshanshah-e-Zaraft was first written with his name in Pakistan, Asif Jah also played the role of hero in some films, also made a personal film “Sheikh Chali” in which he played the title role. His film “Tees Mar Khan” with actress Shireen was also very popular, he also played the title role in the film “Chaudhry”.

Along with acting, Asif Jah also wrote some film songs, one of which was sung by Rangeelane in the film “Durangile” (1972).

Asif Jah’s famous films include Dilbar, Hijrat, Sarfrosh, Chan Mahi, Sin of the Father, Sardar, Seven Lakhs, Zulfan, Pasban, Hadhram, Lat Damal, Mirzajit, Son of Ali Baba, Chowdhury, Sooraj Mukhi, Mehboob, Ek Pardesi Ek Matiar. , Linda Bazar, Fourteen Years, Lingotia, Nikke Hondia D A Pyaar, Khushia and others.

Asif Jah worked with Sudhir and Kamal in most of the films, Anur Kamal Pashaki was not often cast in the films, his role in the Punjabi film “Dalla Bhatti” was quite popular, on which the Indian newspapers also called him Pakistan’s Kanhaiya Lal, he was hired by India for a huge fee. He was also offered but he refused to go to India.

Asif Jah died on September 7, 1994 in Kolhaur.
