Ajith starrer ‘Valimai’ received a lot of negative reviews and one of them was known to be Bluesat Maran’s review. In this context, John Kokan, who starred in the film Sarpatta Paramara, has released a statement appealing to Blue Shirt Maran, who personally criticized Ajith for not criticizing the film ‘Strength’. You are a great screen reviewer. I am a normal actor. He played a minor role in the recently released Charbatta Paramparai movie in Tamil cinema. I have to make a request to you regarding what you are criticizing
If there is cinema, then there are you, and if there is cinema, then there is criticism. Criticism is what makes cinema grow and that is why the film critic is respected. Pointing out grievances requires as much respect as speaking to others. Many people who work in cinema give their commitment and dedication. Great big directors, actors, superstars work. You know how much they struggled to position themselves in these signs
You know how hard it must have been for an actor to become a superstar. They become superstars only after first proving themselves to the public as an actor. My request is to be polite when criticizing them
You too are a movie driver. You will understand what its pain and suffering is. Any creator will create thinking that his creation must succeed. You know how difficult it is to shoot on this corona wave and bring it to the screen. It’s not easy to reach people. Cinema does not happen as expected. Stories like or dislike for a while. That’s how you critique cinema. Criticize technical techniques. Understand and critique Tamil cinema. But criticize anyone with respect, except when speaking personally.
So far, most of the criticisms you have uttered are bad and disgusting. It’s no big deal and anyone can talk. It is difficult to speak efficiently. So when you criticize with damn words, instead of saying damn cinema, you make critique damn. It will also reduce the respect among the people for the critics who will come after you. There are many lakhs of good words in Tamil. Make a polite critique of them with nice, respectful words. To turn others to your side, not to attract everyone
Criticize for giving success.
There are many like me here who believe in cinema and want to stand in cinema. They too must grow. If there is cinema this is all. So it is good to critique creatively the next time you critique. Many of you have to live. You should be fine too. How many fields are there in cinema? How many people work in it? How many families live? Many people come in half thinking of achieving. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. That’s all you have to think. Their critiques should be encouraging to the creator and not in a way that offends them or prevents fans from coming to the film. I hope you understand this. This is my request to be a small actor in cinema.
