After a two and a half month break, the “A1 youth athletics” channel broadcast its champions in Hisarya.
Dozens of athletes from Sofia, Plovdiv, Hisarya, Samokov, Stara Zagora, Haskovo and Sliven competed at the “Krepost” stadium.
The quadriathlon champion Boris Fuskov (CLASS) was without competition in the triathlon in Hisarya. Fuskov “flew” 60 m in 7.3, registered 5.80 in the long jump and easily won in 2:24.2 in 800 m.
Mila Genova (Mikhail Zhelev – Sliven) topped the girls’ standings with 181 points ahead of Sofia Grigorova (Team Klyavkov – Plovdiv) and Polina Hristova (Beroe – Stara Zagora), who shared second place with 172 points.
Genova was the fastest at 60 m with 8.5 together with Hristiana Mihailova (Athletic – Haskovo) and Nikol Asenova (Lokomotiv Sofia – Nikola Karapetrov), who achieved the same result.
Polina Hristova was the best in long jump with 4.78, and 12-year-old Nikol Mincheva (Beroe – Stara Zagora) was the strongest in 600 m with 1:51.2
The champion from Sliven had balanced results in the long jump – 4.58 and 1:56.8 at 600 m, which earned her first place.
All the children were awarded by Bulgaria’s number one athlete for 2022 and 2023, Plamena Mitkova, and by the mayor of Hisarya municipality, Iva Valcheva.
Before the final round in Panagyurishte, which brings a double number of points, Ivona Yordanova (Olympia – Vratsa) and Valena Georgieva (Milka Mihailova – Pernik) have the best chance for the first place in the girls’ circuit.
Boris Fuskov convincingly leads Ioan Radev (Athletic – Haskovo) with 1157 against 1007 points from four starts.
