At its meeting on Tuesday, the Senate approved the draft for the 2022/2023 double budget. Accordingly, the draft for 2022 amounts to 36.5 billion euros, in the coming year 36.7 billion euros are targeted. In the dramatic Corona years 2020 and 2021, the budget was sometimes almost four billion euros higher. The draft now goes to Parliament. It should be decided before the summer break.
