The 2025 KBO Rookie Draft was held on the 11th at the Lotte Hotel World Crystal Ballroom in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
This draft was conducted in a full draft format. The nominations were from the 1st to the 11th round. The order was Kiwoom Heroes-Hanwha Eagles-Samsung Lions-Lotte Giants-KIA Tigers-Doosan Bears-NC Dinos-SSG Landers-KT Wiz-LG Twins, which is the reverse order of the 2023 team rankings.
Deoksu High School left-handed pitcher Jeong Hyeon-woo, who was considered a strong candidate for the first overall pick in this year’s rookie draft, was nominated by Kiwoom, and Jeonju High School right-handed pitcher Jeong Woo-joo was nominated by Hanwha.
