“The violent content posted by this person at the national level and on social media does not match the values and work that the Zapopan Government is committed to in order to guarantee the safety and respect for the human rights of girls, adolescents and women in the municipality,” the document said.
Based on articles 251 and 253 of the Regulations for Commerce, Industry and the Provision of Services for the Municipality of Zapopan, the Government can deny a permit when it affects the public interest and in the statement they also expressed that this content promotes ideas related to pedophilia.
“The decision of the Mayor of Zapopan, Juan José Frangie Saade, is the result of the systematic violence that Adrián Marcelo has manifested in various spaces with hate speech, words that incite different types of violence against women, and even messages that promote pedophilia.”
