The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) will be on the lookout on Saturday on the Trans-Canada Highway where demonstrators have planned to form a human chain across the province to denounce the health measures.

“We are aware of the situation and we remain attentive to this demonstration”, confirms to the Journal Lieutenant Ann Mathieu, spokesperson for the SQ.
Human chain – sanitary measures
The lieutenant specifies that other police forces and even the Quebec Ministry of Transport could be involved in monitoring the demonstrators this weekend.
They claim that the event is a continuation of the convoy of truckers who sat in Ottawa for nearly a month and who put the residents of the federal capital through an ordeal.
Five targeted cities
From Saturday at 1 p.m., human chains along the roads will be visible. Rimouski, Drummondville, Lévis, Rigaud and Beloeil are the five cities where protesters will meet to demand the end of all sanitary measures.
“We, the main thing is that protesters and motorists do not put themselves at risk. It’s the notion of safety that will be the most important,” says Ann Mathieu.
As with the convoy of truckers, this movement is pan-Canadian. Human chains are therefore planned in several cities in all the provinces of the country.

Complete the Trans-Canada Highway
the Journal spoke with Guillaume Fortin, the organizer of the human chain in Quebec.
“Our goal is to fill the Trans-Canada Highway completely. It is sure that it will take people in tabarnak, admits Guillaume Fortin, 36 years old. The organizer wants nothing less “than to also establish a world record for the longest human chain” this weekend.
Remember that by March 14, the vaccine passport and almost all health measures will be abandoned in Quebec.
Farfadaas and truckers involved
Mr. Fortin also admits to collaborating with the trade unionist Bernard “Rambo” Gauthier, the group of opponents to sanitary measures the Fardadaas and even the controversial Keven Bilodeau to carry out his project.
In a video posted on his Facebook page, Mr. Bilodeau also invites truckers from the “freedom convoy” to participate in the “freedom chain” scheduled for Saturday.
“It’s not over until it’s over. People are wondering why are we doing this? The health emergency is not abolished”, he insists.
Keven Bilodeau also said he was disappointed by the absence of Farfadaas Steeve “L’Artiss” Charland at the demonstration scheduled for Saturday. This notorious conspirator was arrested Sunday in Ontario in relation to the convoy of truckers. For now, the leader of the Fardadaas remains detained until his appearance in court in Ottawa.
