Public service: Aboubacar Soumah commits to supporting non-admitted contract teachers

by time news

Contractual teachers not admitted to the civil service recruitment competition, accompanied by the secretary general of the SLECG Aboubacar Soumah, were present this morning at the national council for social dialogue for a meeting to resolve their situation.

Since last April, the Free Union of Teachers and Researchers of Guinea (SLECG) has filed a platform of demands but which has remained without follow-up. This is why these contractual teachers mobilized this Thursday to make themselves heard by the leaders at the national council of social dialogue.

“Since then, to this date, we have not been contacted. Which led us to multiply the problems, Which led us to file a second platform of demands on the 24th of last month, last Monday. We copied the National Council for Social Dialogue. This is what made us invited to this meeting today so that we can discuss this platform of demands. He will come back, as he said so well, to contact the authorities, by correspondence concerning the platform of demands that we filed. “, explains Aboubacar Soumah, the Secretary General of the SLECG.

Surrounded by desperate contract teachers, Aboubacar Soumah gives them hope that their demands will be met.

Before adding: “In accordance with Article 100 of this statute which was signed since 2006, each time there is inflation, each time the cost of living is high, the content of this statute must be adapted to this reality. Which is not done and which has always been demanded, but which has never been done. We ask that the statute of pre-university education and technical education also be revised to satisfaction and that it be adapted to the current realities of life. I am sure that it is a government of dialogue, which has meant that at the level of pre-university education, since the advent of the CNRD, there has been no strike, if you notice.”
