Election of Mr. Abdeladim Lhafi Vice-President of the African Shooting Federation
Casablanca – The delegated president of the Royal Moroccan Sport Shooting Federation, Mr. Abdeladim Lhafi, was recently elected vice-president of the African Sport Shooting Federation (FRMTS) for the period 2021-2025.
This election took place following the holding on December 19, by videoconference from Cairo, of the elective general assembly of the African body, indicates a press release from the FRMTS.
For his part, Mr. Hazim Housni, president of the Egyptian shooting federation, was re-elected president for a third term, the same source continued.
The election of Mr. Abdeladim Lhafi to the management bodies of the African Federation of Sport Shooting reflects the prominent place occupied by the Kingdom in this sport at the continental level and its contribution to its influence, by organizing a number of regional, continental and international competitions, at their head the International Grand Prix of Morocco for Sport Shooting, now an annual event that brings together the world elite of this discipline.
It should be recalled that the International Shooting Federation has entrusted Morocco with the organization of the World Cup from February 7 to 18 in the disciplines of Trap and Skeet.
