The House of Culture of Saint Vincent de Ferrer was the place chosen to present the Quality of Life Report 2023a document produced thanks to careful research and guided by the purpose of getting to know Antioquia better.

The result was possible thanks to the teamwork of the Corona Foundation, Comfama, Comfenalco, Grupo Argos, Uniban, Fundación Bios, Mineros, EAFIT University, the Pontifical Bolivarian University, the University of Medellín, Prisa Media and Proantioquia.

Although poverty has generally decreased, the report makes clear that “the main warning is food insecurity, which continues to increase in all subregions. While the 29% of people live in monetary poverty, 38% of households are in moderate or severe food insecurity.”
