by time news

With Karim Adeyemi doing remarkable things in the first half and scoring two goals to lay the foundation for his team’s victory, Dortmund “bent” 4-2 against Heidenheim in the opening match of the 3rd round of the Bundesliga and climbed to the top of the league table.

The Westphalians started the match very strongly, taking an early lead with two goals from Malen (12′) and Adeyemi (17′). Heidenheim reduced the score to 3-1 in the 39th minute with an unstoppable header from Pieringer, but immediately after came another goal from Adeyemi to close the first half at 3-1.

Heidenheim did not give up, reducing the deficit again with a penalty from Breun in the 74th minute and applied pressure for an equalizer, but in the third minute of injury time, a successful penalty from Can sealed the victory.
