Bhopal: The weather remained dry in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. Rainfall occurred in only a few districts of the state. Normal rainfall occurred in these districts as well. There was no heavy rainfall activity in any district. On Sunday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, one mm of rain fell in Damoh, three in Rewa and three in Narmadapuram.
As of Sunday, the highest rainfall recorded in the last 24 hours was 21.4 mm in Sidhi district. Whereas Khairunji in Balaghat recorded 16.3 mm, Bijawar 12 mm and Pawai 12 mm.
Decrease in rains increased the temperature
As the pace of rain weakened, an increase in the maximum temperature was recorded; on Sunday the maximum temperature in Khajuraho of Chhattarpur district was recorded at 35 degree Celsius; apart from this the weather in most of the districts also remained above 30 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded was 31.4 in Bhopal, 33.5 in Gwalior, 30.6 in Indore, 31.8 in Jabalpur, 31.4 in Rewa, 32.9 in Satna, 32.5 in Tikamgarh, 31.5 degree Celsius in Ujjain.
Alert regarding heavy rain here
Although the weather department has predicted rain with thunderstorms in entire Madhya Pradesh, a yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in some districts. A warning has been issued for heavy rain in some places in Singrauli, Sidhi, Mauganj and Shahdol districts. From Monday, heavy rain may occur in the districts of Sagar, Shahdol and Rewa divisions of Madhya Pradesh.
Activity changing due to these weather systems
According to weather experts, currently a deep depression area is formed near Kolkata. At the same time, the monsoon trough is formed from Firozpur Patiala Shahjahanpur Ballia through the deep depression area to the Bay of Bengal. A cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air in northwestern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Jharkhand. Many such weather systems are formed in the country. Due to the effect of these weather systems, there may be rain in some places in Madhya Pradesh as well.
