CDMX: A man was shot dead in Polanco

During the night of this Thursday, September 12, a man was killed with gunshots in the colony Polanco Third Sectionfrom the Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office.

The above occurred at the intersection of Oliver Goldsmith and Carlos Dickens streets.

According to initial reports, two subjects approached a man of approximately 50 years of age, who was apparently getting out of a black van, and shot him several times.

After the attack – presumably direct – the subjects fled the scene on foot.

Meanwhile, emergency services arrived at the scene to diagnose the man, who no longer had vital signs.

The area was cordoned off by elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), while forensic services from the CDMXC Prosecutor’s Office arrived to carry out initial investigations.

The SSC said that video surveillance cameras in the area will be analyzed to identify the alleged attackers.
