(Motorsport-Total.com) – Terrible news from Frohburg. During the 61st edition of the traditional racing event on the Frohburg triangle, there was a serious accident over the weekend, resulting in the death of the Italian Luca Salvadori at the age of 32.

The Superbike class was the top category featured in the International Road Racing Championship for motorcycles (IRRC) in Frohburg. During qualifying on Saturday (September 14), tragedy struck at the road racing circuit located between Chemnitz and Leipzig in Saxony.
Didier Grams fell on his BMW from G&G Motorsport. Salvadori, who was competing on a Ducati from the Broncos Racing Team, became involved in Grams’ fall. He was transported to the hospital with severe injuries, where he lost his battle for life.
“With infinite sadness, we announce the loss of our Luca Salvadori,” stated the Broncos Racing Team in an official announcement published on the team’s Instagram account on Sunday.
“Following an accident at the road racing circuit in Frohburg, his numerous injuries did not allow for survival, and he has left us. We extend our deepest condolences and stand by his family,” said the team’s statement regarding Salvadori’s death.
As a motorcycle racer, Luca Salvadori, born on March 2, 1992, also participated in the MotoE World Championship. He competed in several races for the Pramac Team during the 2023 season, achieving a top 10 finish in his debut.
Alongside his active career, Salvadori dedicated himself to creating and editing videos, which he published on his own YouTube channel.
