Parma, 17 September 2024 – It’s called Chiara Petrolini the 22-year-old girl at the centre of the investigations into two newborns found dead in a small villa in Traversetolo. A young woman apparently like many others, an occasional babysitter and always ready to lend a hand at the summer camp. For days she has been ‘disappearance’ together with his family, but his name is already in the register of suspects with the accusation of premeditated murder and concealment of a corpse.
Yesterday the Parma prosecutor’s office declared that Petrolini would have I acted aloneinducing birth alone at home, and then kill and hide the little body of the son in a hole in the garden. But that August 9th neither Chiara nor her immediate family were in Traversetolo: they were on vacation in New York.

Republic however, he speaks of a midwife friend which could have helped unknowingly Chiara, perhaps answering some of her ‘curiosities’.
“I didn’t know anything, I didn’t understand anything, I can’t believe it”. The life of EmanuelePetrolini’s boyfriend, was shocked by the news that he was the father of the newborn baby she hid. “I I would have wanted that sonI could have kept it by myself, I’m 22 years old but I work and my mother would have helped me”, he declared to The Press. The relationship between the two was “absolutely calm”, underlines a friend contacted by Republic.
“I was at Chiara’s house those days,” the boy’s mother told the Turin newspaper, Sonia Canrossi – They had entrusted me with the apartment so that I could look after the garden, when I saw the carabinieri arriving I wrote to Chiara ‘what’s going on here?’”. “Nothing, Don’t worry. Then I’ll explain to you when I get back”the 22-year-old’s response.
