Three Venezuelans arrested for possible homicide and drug possession in Cuauhtémoc

In two different actions, elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) Three Venezuelan nationals were arrested, one in possession of apparent drug doses, and the other two with a short firearm and possible connection to a homicide committed in the Cuauhtémoc municipality.

A man and a woman fled when they noticed the presence of the officers, but were arrested meters further on, and after a search they were found with a short firearm with 15 live cartridges, ten transparent bags with green and dry grass similar to marijuana and two identifications.

The man who was carrying the handgun is identified as possibly responsible for the death of the victim found in the Morelos neighborhood.

The three detainees of Venezuelan nationality were placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine their legal situation.
