jpnn.comJAKARTA – Main Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Ali Mochtar Ngabalin responded to the statement of the former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, who insinuated that he often claimed to be a palace person.
According to him, Ngabalin often used President Jokowi’s name when speaking in front of the mass media crew.
Responding to this, Ngabalin admitted that he did not care and let Mahfud MD’s opinion be his.
“Let it be. Forgive Mr. Mahfud, so that he will always be healthy. The Indonesian people know that I work at KSP as a main expert, and spokesperson for the presidential staff office,” said Ngabalin when contacted by JPNN.com, Tuesday (17/9).
Ngabalin also said that Mahfud was his old friend in the Indonesian House of Representatives. At that time, both were members of Commission 1 for the 2004-2009 period.
According to Ngabalin, he even helped Jokowi in government since Jokowi’s first term in office.
“I have worked in the presidential palace environment since the middle of Jokowi JK’s first term. Pak Mahfud will be in Jokowi Aba Kiai’s term,” he said.
The Golkar Party politician also said that it was impossible for him to provide information to the media and to the public by arbitrarily claiming to be a palace person.
