Recently, Vivek Oberoi told the story of becoming an entrepreneur. In an interview given to Entertainment Live, the actor said that he used to go door to door selling perfume at the age of 10.
Vivek Oberoi recalls, “When I was 10 years old, my father came to me. He said, ‘We will go on vacation for 1 month. But before that I will teach you something for the first four months.’ He asked me to take the diary. Then asked me to make a price list of perfumes bought for me. The more you sell than this price, the money is yours.”
Narrating the incident of selling perfume by bicycle, Vivek Oberoi said, ‘I went door to door by bicycle; I used to keep sale items (perfume, price list) in my school bag. I was wrong that time. But I learned a lot. I have done this every year since then. When I was 15 years old, I started creating my own ideas and started trading in the stock market. Start following small entrepreneurs. When I was 19, I built a tech company and sold it at a profit at 22.’
Vivek Oberoi entered the silver screen in 2002 with the movie ‘Company’. When he had a bad time in his acting career, he got the benefit of becoming an entrepreneur. Vivek Oberoi said, ‘I felt that I could do anything, that I was capable and confident.’
