“Mr. President, the messages were received approving votes corresponding to the legislatures of the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Colima, Durango, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Mexico, Morelos, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave, Yucatán, Zacatecas and Mexico City.
“Mr. President, based on the count made, this office attests to the receipt of 22 approving votes for the draft decree amending, adding to and repealing various provisions of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States in relation to the Reform of the Judicial Branch; all those present are asked to stand,” Vázquez read from the podium.
The acting president of the board of directors, Sergio Gutierrez Luna (Morena) He indicated that once the votes of approval of the majority of the state legislatures and Mexico City have been counted, the declaration of constitutionality is issued.
