The digital expert also highlighted the role of innovations driven by artificial intelligence (AI) in the digital transformation of businesses in Africa, by providing innovative solutions adapted to local ecosystems and needs, thus improving the operational efficiency of businesses.

In this sense, he cited challenges to be overcome, such as improving mobile coverage as well as investing in training and developing AI skills.

On cybersecurity, Mr. Azdimousa stressed the importance of collaboration between African companies to share information on cyber threats and best practices.

To this end, he recommended the implementation of security solutions based on AI and machine learning to ensure proactive detection of threats and automation of responses, making it possible to quickly contain and neutralize attacks.

Dwelling on the implications of the 2030 FIFA World Cup on Morocco’s digital development, the expert noted that this event will lead to the strengthening and modernization of digital infrastructures, as well as the development of smart cities and connected stadiums to efficiently manage transport, security and public services.

In this sense, he stressed the need to invest in advanced cybersecurity technologies to protect critical infrastructures, as well as the development of augmented and virtual reality applications to improve the fan experience and promote digital tourism.
