jpnn.com – PANGKALPINANG – Erwinsyah, an honorary employee at an elementary school in Bangka Regency, is the first gold medalist for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province contingent at the 21st Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) 2024.
The honorary employee with outstanding achievements admitted that he was grateful and proud of the achievements he had made.
“Thank God and proud because we were able to achieve the best results with the gold medal from the Hapkido martial arts branch at this prestigious event, we hope this can bring honor to the name of the region,” said Erwinsyah when he arrived at Depati Amir Airport, Pangkalpinang, Sunday (15/9).
Erwinsyah did not expect to be able to achieve this achievement and in the future will continue to practice so that he can achieve at the national and international levels.
“Thank you to my parents who continue to provide motivation, friends and the people of Bangka Belitung who continue to support and congratulate me,” he said.
Erwinsyah is the first son of parents who work as daily laborers and housewives.
That is what fueled his enthusiasm to practice and compete diligently to win so he could make his parents proud.
Currently, Erwinsyah is registered as an honorary employee with administrative duties at an elementary school in Sungailiat, Bangka Regency.
