The program The Patagonia Route is about to come to an end and its long-awaited final chapter will star Nicolas Iturrabrother of the deceased Claudio Iturra.
Regarding his participation in the closing of the program, Nicolás commented that “It was a privilege for me, and it gave me the opportunity to close part of the grieving process that we are experiencing as a family.”
This special and highly anticipated season finale will air this Saturday, September 14 in the prime time block of Channel 13, offering a unique opportunity to say goodbye to the program with a final journey through the impressive landscapes of Patagonia.
Who is Nicolás Iturra, Claudio Iturra’s brother who will be the protagonist of the end of La Ruta de la Patagonia?
As revealed Nicolas Iturra to Channel 13, it is geologist by profession, although at university he specialized in groundwater, which is why he is considered more hydrogeologist.
Along with this, the 47-year-old professional revealed the bond he had with his late brother and his deep connection with the environment. “Claudio and I shared and lived nature intensely as teenagers. We enjoyed long walks, the silences when walking through forests and the desire to convey that it is important for the soul to travel and leave our comfort zones.”he said.
Regarding how he experienced the trip, Claudio Iturra’s older brother revealed his feelings and said that “I think I was not wrong, because the trip and everything related to the trip was a super significant experience that remained engraved in my soul.”
“I felt my brother more present than ever during those days. The team and I shared anecdotes and situations where we felt his presence, and on a more personal level, it was a balm for me that I am grateful for, because during the days before the trip, the pain of his departure had intensified considerably,” he said.
The final chapter of La Ruta de la Patagonia will be available to watch This Saturday after T13 Central on the screens of Canal 13 and all its platforms.
