As part of the commemoration of the 203 years of independence, Salvadorans living in the United States celebrated this achievement with the Guanaco Festival, where renowned artists highlighted the progress that the nation has experienced under the leadership of President Nayib Bukele.
Highlighting the excellent security climate that the country has, since the implementation of the Territorial Control Plan and the legal protection provided by the Reforms to the Criminal Procedure Code, as well as the Exception Regime, position the country as the safest in the hemisphere, abruptly transforming the international imagination, where the country was considered as “the Capital of Homicides.”
Mexican presenter with Costa Rican roots, Maribel Guardia, was part of the artists who attended the Guanaco Festival 2024 event in Maryland, United States, where she said she was proud of the achievements of President Nayib Bukele in El Salvador.
“What an honor, what happiness, I am truly proud of the president you have in El Salvador, we need more of them… Long live El Salvador!” were Guardia’s words to the Salvadoran president.
Mexican actress María Antonieta de las Nieves, known as La Chilindrina, also highlighted that El Salvador is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and expressed her affection for the entire population.
