The Federal Public Service Council confirmed today, Monday, that all applicants with higher degrees and top students will have equal opportunities for appointment.

The council stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “the head of the Federal Public Service Council, Mahmoud Al-Tamimi, received this morning a group of representatives of holders of higher degrees and top students in a step aimed at strengthening communication between the government and citizens who are able to contribute to the development of Iraq.”
He added, “These meetings come within a series of activities through which the Council seeks to enhance transparency and build bridges of trust between the government and citizens, as part of their efforts to create a suitable work environment for the people of Iraq and contribute to advancing the wheel of development.”
He added that “Al-Tamimi opened the door during the meeting for attendees to ask their questions and inquiries, expressing his keenness to allocate sufficient time to discuss their concerns and aspirations. The questions focused on employment mechanisms and the next stages of absorbing graduates into state institutions. Al-Tamimi provided accurate and comprehensive answers, which contributed to shedding light on many important points related to appointments.”
Al-Tamimi stressed – according to the statement – “the Public Service Council’s commitment to implementing Laws (59) and (67) in a comprehensive manner,” stressing that “all applicants will have equal opportunities for appointment.”
He called for “not being carried away by malicious rumours that may cause confusion in the street”, noting that “the government is committed to supporting young people and opening the doors of work to them, which reflects its serious intentions to invest their energies”.
