Trump avoided a direct answer to the question about support for Ukraine, reiterating his intention to quickly end the conflict. Harris, in turn, expressed the opinion that Trump could effectively hand over Ukraine to Russia if he becomes president again.
According to a CNN poll of debate viewers, 63% of respondents preferred Harris, while 37% supported Trump.
